P.T.'s is made for the drunken dancer. That would be me. The place is packed full of the freshest, newest legal drinkers, but people are generally less annoying than expected. The dance floor is pretty much non-existant but somehow always develops in a corner of the bar and expands quickly by the end of the night. The ladies room is pretty nice... Stop by for a long pee!

Never coming back to this place. Bouncers are rude and straight up pricks. I walked out to smoke and they would not let me back in because they thought I was to drunk. Compared to the other folks at the bar (1 am btw), I was nothing close to being belligerent. Could not figure out what their issue was with me until I over heard the word fag as I waled away. Bartenders are rude, drinks are expensive and weak. I was visiting Lansing for the first time from out of state and this place left a bad taste in my mouth. Hopefully next time I come to East Lansing I will be able to find a better place to go.

This place is the jam. PTs...you are so right. The right crowd, the right music. The right amount of space for playing quarters, and the right amount of space for getting my dance on. The right place for bringing all of your friends, and the right place for making new ones. The right drinks at the right price.

This place is dead during holiday break the waiter and door men don't care who enters only about the TV show duck dynasty!!! But during the regular school year it is a fun place to be.

I came to PT's on my 21st birthday and had an absolute blast. Inexpensive drinks, great music, nice service.

PT's can be fun depending on the crowd. Being a smaller bar, it cancer pretty packed in there and also pretty damn hot. They have good Thursday specials and it's one of the few East Lansing bars that doesn't smell like ammonia and stale beer.

As far as noisy, drunk bars go, this one is the most tolerable. You still get your typical stray creepy guy here but whatevs, it's still a safer bet than The Landshark or Rick's. I like it better than the Riv also. I always have fun and the drinks are pretty cheap. It's not too dark and they have an alright dance floor. If loud music, crowds, and waiting in line are your thing, I would stick to this bar. These kind of places aren't my cup of tea, but this one I still think is fine.

Drinks are cheap, but not very good. The plastic cups make you realize your night will be nowhere near classy. The service is pretty good, but rap music and pounding cheap drinks isn't really my style.

PT's is wonderful. I love how casual it is without being trashy. I, personally, like burger bash more than Rama because of the waffle fries. The one thing I will say is that security may be a little weird at times. It's not like a huge deal but I have noticed a couple times people were arbitrarily not let in or will kick people out. but you know, it's still a cool place.

One of the worst bars I've ever been to in my entire life. I came here with my friends on 8/28/15. I ordered a Hennessy on the rocks. Immediately after paying for and ordering my one and only drink of the night, a bouncer randomly comes up to me and tells me that I need to leave because I look too drunk and that it's his discretion to kick me out if he wants too. I gladly left and I will never return here again.

My big gripe about P.T.'s is the security. I don't mean how they do their job, but how they handle the lines. 30 people will stand and wait in the back because the bar is "at capacity," and it's ridiculous because there is plenty of room in the bar. That happens at The Riv, too, and it was always annoying. Otherwise, it's a true college bar. Just has that feel of a good time with good friends.

Pretty average bar. Slow service, cover and always packed with drunk college kids. Decent drink options but not better than nearby competitors. Leaves much to be desired.

PT's is a great place if you don't wanna get caught up in the trashy East Lansing night life. The bartenders are friendly, the environment is inviting, will be playing big athletic games on the TVs, and Thursday you can get burgers and waffle fries for 1 dollar each. Leave Rick's and Harper's behind and enjoy a night at PT's!

Was there yesterday for the Ohio State game and The DJ played the Ohio State fight song right before the game for all of the Buckeye fans there.

one of the greats in EL. I have spent way to many nights/days sitting up at the bar drinking myself crazy. Monday's are the nights to go for cheap cheap pitchers $3-$4 depending on how classy your taste is. This place was also were I discovered the glory of Minz, the key to any great night at the bar. The staff here is great, I really can't complain. 2 thumbs up.

This place was cool back when I liked crappy flat beer out of pitchers and standing like cattle in the bar. This is basically a Greek bar any night of the week. If you are under 25 you will have a great time. If you are over 25 you will feel very, very old except for homecoming weekend. On a bright note, the food they serve is pretty good if you stop in for lunch. If you can afford better beer than Beast, go somewhere else.

This is one of my favorite bars. I usually go on Monday nights with a friend every once in a while. On Mondays they have 4$ pitchers of imported and 3$ domestic. Stick with Guinness you wont regret it. The bartender (Katie) is also really cool and friendly. It's a fun place to go especially when you just want to chill out.

stay golden o'malleys, stay golden. it's like cheers, but in michigan. everyone knows your name. mondays- $3 pitchers of domestics, $4 pitchers of premium beers there are always good specials, as well as amazing staff to fill your glass and talk about life. I have been going there for almost 4 years now, and pt's is the bar I call "home" in east lansing. being a regular definitely helps... you scratch their back and they'll scratch yours. and no, big mike is not annoying as hell. as a matter of fact, I find him quite enjoyable. don't try to beat "danikel" on word dojo... it just won't happen. they are LEGENDS. forget the shot wheel, just go for a shot of minze... pts, you are the wind beneath my wings.

This bar is as small as a closet and the dance floor is almost non existent. Also the few times that I have went, the DJ pretty much sucked. Not sure why this place gets so packed, there are better bars out there.

Man I used to love this place. I remember Thursday nights was when everyone wanted to be there. Great ambience, the hottest women, the bartenders were cool and if you hung out there on a regular basis, then you could get perks. The music was the same EL hip-hop. The DJ with the beard was cool and always made the place fun, but Big Mike was annoying as hell. What was up with that Burt Reynolds bartender?
